BID Equity Fund II, a fund advised by BID Equity, acquires the majority of Infopark Group GmbH. Infopark is the manufacturer of the web-based Content Management Software Scrivito, which is used by well-known organizations in the private and public sector for the creation of highly secure and maintenance-free websites, web applications, portals and apps.

As a headless CMS system, Scrivito is offered via APIs as Software as a Service (SaaS) in the cloud. Scrivito’s specific strengths lie in programming with JavaScript and its ease of use. In addition to the features for the development of portals, Scrivito provides an integrated Digital Asset Management (DAM) and a web-based CRM system. Many extensions and modules are offered by partners and help to digitize customer relationships particularly for B2B companies.

BID Equity’s investment will enable the Berlin-based vendor to boost its international expansion, enhance the product portfolio, and strengthen its partner channel.

The Infopark acquisition is a platform investment by BID Equity to pursue a Buy & Build strategy; the acquisition of synergistic companies to expand the Infopark portfolio is imminent.
