UntermStrich software and KOBOLD Management Systeme join forces in the future
The Austrian/German untermStrich software GmbH ("untermStrich") merges with the German Kobold Man-agement Systeme GmbH ("Kobold", together "the Group"). This alliance of two leading providers of soft-ware solutions for commercial and administrative processes for architects and construction engineers, which was realised by BID Equity, thus results in the new market leader in the German-speaking region.
With the modern software offer for the organization and management of architecture and engineering offices, the company untermStrich, located in the Graz area and in Berlin, offers a comprehensive solution for planning offices of different sizes. The software focuses on project control and management, invoicing and resource planning, uniform document management across projects, and comprehensive controlling and management tools.
The complementary product offerings and a total of three locations in Germany and Austria will enable the Group to provide even better service to its more than 3,500 active customers going forward. "Together with Kobold, we can meet the needs of our customers with a geographically comprehensive and larger team. The bundling of know-how as well as development capacities enables us to react even faster and more flexibly to market requirements and changes," emphasizes untermStrich co-founder Architect DI Guido R. Strohecker. Roberto Ronis, Managing Director of Kobold, adds: "Both companies represent an experienced team that offers products with different strengths. Following the successful merger of untermStrich with Kobold, the group continues to pursue the expansion and broadening of its existing product offering.
