JustRelate Group acquires Planware, a provider of product configuration software
Berlin-based digital experience specialist JustRelate Group, a BID Equity portfolio firm, acquires Munich-based PLANWARE Beratung & Software GmbH, a specialist for product configuration software. This acquisition marks another significant step for the JustRelate Group in providing customers with an integrated platform for the digitization of their sales processes.
Planware was founded in 1989 and offers its B2B customers a powerful configure-price-quote ("CPQ") software as well as variant management for complex products. Planware's KONFEX product enables customers to configure complex products, calculate prices, and create tailormade quotes in an efficient way.
JustRelate Group was formed in 2020 by BID Equity through the merger of CMS provider Infopark with CRM provider PiSA Sales. The group's strategy is to provide a powerful and holistic "Digital Experience Platform" (DXP) that enables its customers to digitally sell complex product and service offerings. Planware complements the group with its feature rich CPQ solution, enabling its customers to transfer online product configurations into attractive sales quotations.
